Nasty Women of the World, Your Hypocrisy is All We Hear

Tina Brown jumped on the bash Harvey Weinstein bandwagon today.  Harvey's her former boss, so no doubt she could have written this article long ago.  She wrote many telling things about the misogynist sexual predator, but didn't explain why she is only now willing to spill her guts.  Or why she felt the need to lump Trump into her cowardly hit piece.

 I left a comment  beneath the article with the following:

 DEFINITION:

 Hypocrite:  1. Tina Brown, Ashley Judd, Rose McGowan and the rest of the media and Hollywood femi-nazis who preach from their pulpits about the horrible women who would dare vote for a 'misogynist', while covering up the bad behavior of their sugar daddy Harvey Weinstein so that he can continue to grab the p****** of those who will exchange a grope for a movie role.

 I would have copied it verbatim, but is was speedily deleted.  Hollywood and the media it feeds take pleasure in preaching to us in fly over country about the victim hood of women, but they don't want to hear us preach back that sometimes women are their own worse enemies. 

You allow a man with power to abuse that power with no repercussions, which allows him to stay on top so that he can continue to feed on those who would sell their soul for a moment of stardom, and you want to lecture the rest of us about feminism?  What is empowering about keeping your mouth shut to protect a pig?  Nothing.

 And that is why the Ashley Judd's and Madonna's of this world that brag about being nasty are really just angry women.  Filled with rage at their own failure to stand up and speak.  Hating themselves for having little to no convictions while rationalizing every compromise they made on their road to stardom.

 Then they have the nerve to condemn those of us who refused to vote for a woman who compromised her values long ago by paying off women her own husband had victimized.  The irony is thick!

 So continue to make movies that belittle our values and our God, Angry Women.  Continue to bash our president and our politics while shouting through bull horns and microphones.  We'll continue to vote with our pocketbooks because we hear you loud and clear -- your hypocrisy is deafening.

The Stuff of Life

Name Above All Names

What unexpected emotion courses through your body when you hear someone say the name Jesus?  Honestly reflect on your emotional and physical reaction? Do you experience peace or offense?  Love or loathing?  Familiarity or discomfort?  Years ago, I can remember being very uncomfortable at the mention of His name. No matter what the reaction is, there is one.  Isn't that crazy?  A name.  What other name does that?  His is the Name above all Names, and our reaction, no matter what that reaction, is evidence of it's power.  Isaiah 49:7:  Before He was born, God knew He would be rejected by many, and told us so in the Book.  And for what was Jesus hated?  Search the words He spoke that are recorded in that Book.
